We directed and produced this TV commercial in collaboration with Joint. Following on from our Mini Mornings cinema ident – Family Tickets uses the same orange clay and walking letters.

As the animation was quite complex, we needed to get sign-off on 2D animation before getting started in stop motion.

Before Vue’s Family Ticket commercial, we produced Mini Mornings which lead the aesthetic of orange clay and anthropomorphised letters.

As with much of our stop motion work, the movement needs to be worked out in advance to ensure everything hits its mark on time. Below is the animatic we created before shooting the Vue Family Ticket spot.
